Near the land of Eternal Springs, under the shade of the old hardwood trees, he is said to have visited and walked on the deep rich, jet black volcanic soils. He may have looked up to the surrounding unforgiving and rugged mountainous terrain and conceived the idea for one of his famous works. Maybe he was just here to partake in the coffee. Whether the Legend of Hemingway's visits to Lago de Apanás has grown from fact or fiction, I may never know. I can tell you that our light roast Nicaraguan coffee is legendary as it pulls from the same soils that grow cacao, various fruits and vegetables like a good story you will be engrossed in every cup.
